Since 2010 Badger Tree Service has been specializing in difficult tree removals and pruning. I had not always known that I wanted to climb trees or operate a tree service, but working outside with a constantly changing environment and set of challenges has always been something I've enjoyed.
While working with the U.S. Forest Service in Wyoming, I was first instructed on proper chainsaw skills and tree felling techniques. After meeting a friend that introduced me to the profession of climbing trees and arborculture, I decided to get training and pursue a business of my own.
Over the first few years, my uncle, Mike Rufledt was essential in Badger Tree getting its start. After pulling Mike out of a brief retirement from UPS, he helped me on countless jobs. Without his help, I'm sure that the business would not have been able to grow to what it is today.
We still focus on one tree at a time. I believe that as this company focuses on safety and customer service, it will continue to grow. My goal is to become your first choice for tree care in the area. This is a fun business to be in and I hope you will enjoy having us work for you.
